Vacation

We just got home from vacation!! We usually go to Kure Beach, NC but this year we went to our friends, Tammy and Ben, in South Carolina. Shane, Brianne, Jason and Ashton also met us there. Before we got to their house, we stopped at Nanette and Tim's house (Jeff's sister) We stayed there over night and Jeff's mom and Aunt met us there also. So we were busy, saw lots of family and now we are home, burnt and tan!! Jeff went back to work this morning--even though he would have rather spent another day at the beach. While we were on vacation Jason turned 6 years old!! We can't believe he is 6! When did our grandson grow up? Isn't he just a little baby?? We celebrated with an ice cream cake, candles that just would not blow out and, among other things, a booggie board for playing in the ocean.

In Charleston we visited an aircraft carrier,
and...........

Ben arranged for us to get a tour of one of the planes that he flies. The boys loved it and now they want to be in the military and fly "big planes" too! ("not little ones"--Dustin)
